Bryson City Dateline:

Dollie Green Sutton, 66, of the Needmore Community went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 18th, 2012 at her residence. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna Adams Green. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, John Cecil Green; one sister Betty Buchanan; and one grandchild, Stephanie Arlene Sutton.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Arley Sutton; three sons, John Sutton and wife Marsha of Bryson City, Ricky Sutton and wife Dewanda of Bryson City, and Stephen Sutton and wife Shermane of Cherokee; 15 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; two brothers, Ray Adams of Bryson City, and Bobby Green of Whittier, and two sisters, Fannie Wiggins, and Albie Gunter both of Bryson City.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. David Burch will officiate with burial in the Laurel Branch Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9:00 PM Thursday at the Funeral Home.
