Bryson City Dateline:

Alice “Elaine” Jacobs, 60, of the Jackson Line Community, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, March 25th, 2012 in a Swain County Hospital. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of J.B. Jacobs of Bryson City and the late Betty Jean Waddell Jacobs.

In addition to her father she is survived by two children, Tracey Anthony and husband Marty of Bryson City, and Robert Barnes of Pawhuska, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Joshua Anthony, Aaron Anthony, Kayden Barnes, and Kreggor Barnes; one sister Debe Kirby and husband David of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; one Niece Misty Peters and husband Chad of Chouteau, Oklahoma; two nephews Clint Taylor of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Chad Taylor and wife Natalee of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one great niece and nephew Raylee Peters, and Trent Peters.

Memorial Services will be held 6:00 PM Thursday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Tom Harris will officiate.
