BRYSON CITY………………..

ALMA  BERNICE  RITCHIE, 77, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday morning July 27, 2010 at Tsali Care Center in Cherokee.   A native and lifelong resident of Swain County she was the daughter of the late Claude and Lessie Breedlove Cunningham. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband J.B.Ritchie, a son David Winchester and a Grandson Jason Winchester.

She is survived by 2 Daughters-  Judy Styles and her husband Vernon of Bryson City

                                                         Freda Winchester of Bryson City

                               3- Sons- Mike Ritchie and his wife Sue of Crossville, Tn

                                              Steve Winchester and his wife Beth of Bryson City

                                             Mark Winchester and his wife Penny of Randleman, NC

                                8 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren

                               3- Sisters-   Mary Cunningham of Bryson City

                                                   Faye Hyatt of Waynesville, NC

                                                  Claudell Wike of Bryson City

 several nieces and nephews also survive

Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Fox officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sawmill Hill Cemetery.
