Obituary of Bertie Elizabeth Revis

Bertie Burns Revis, 93, of Whittier went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. She was a daughter of the late Thomas and Mae Payne Burns. She was preceded in death by her husband, MB. Revis and also a grandson, David Revis.
Surviving are one son, Joe Douglas Revis, Sr. and wife Judith G. Revis; a grandson, Joe Douglas Revis, Jr. (Amy) of Rutherfordton; a granddaughter, Rita Howard, (Will) of Whittier; great grandchildren, Lauren and Evan Revis, David Payne and Raine Bradley; and special friends, Linda Maney and Alice Pressley.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday at the Whittier Church of God, of which she was a member. Revs. David Baxter and Ned Pressley, whom she loved dearly, will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 pm Sunday at the church.
