Ronnie Jenkins, 57, of Bryson City, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at his residence. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Omer and Mildred Jenkins. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister Inez Monteith and one brother Everett Jenkins.
He is survived by his companion of 32 years Lesia Smith; two sons, Ronnie Wayne Jenkins Jr, and Christopher Wayne Jenkins and wife Kerri; two daughters Darlene Carmack, and Nicole Lynn Brown and husband Robert; two sisters, Jeanette Frady and Sandra Bridges; one brother Marshall Jenkins and wife Patty; 12 grandchildren; one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be held 2:00 PM Friday at Jenkins Cemetery. Rev. Charles Ray Ball will officiate.
