Obituary of Hazel Faye Gibson

Hazel Faye Gibson, 83, of Bryson City, went home to be with the Lord Thursday April 2, 2015 in a Jackson County Hospital. A native of Spring City, TN she was the daughter of the late Wesley and Lena Burnett Robinson and wife of the late Harley Gibson. She was a member of Arlington Baptist Church. She was active with the Sweet Thoughts Volunteers and was a charter member. She was preceded in death by her sister Doris Smith. She is survived by one son, Gary Gibson and wife Wanda of Franklin; grandson Casey Gibson and granddaughter Ashley Gibson, and one sister Agnes Reed. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Reverends Larry Spencer and Ed Kilgore will officiate with burial in Swain Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sweet Thoughts Alzheimers Group, 67 Bryson Avenue, Bryson City, NC 28713.
