Patrick Jacks, 65, of Marshall, NC originally of Bryson City, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015 at his residence. A native of Swain County he was the son of the late Burton C. and Hazel B. Jacks. He was a retired Lt. Commander with the US. Navy with 30 years of service. He is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Turner (Nathan), and Caroline Jacks of Everett WA; three grandsons, Devon Jacks, Brodie and Tyler Turner all of Everett, WA; two sisters Sherry J. Jenkins and Patsy Thomas both of Bryson City; and extended family. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Pastor B.P. Boyle will officiate. Burial will be in Swain Memorial Park with Military Graveside Services conducted by the U.S. Navy. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association at 4708 Papermill Drive, Knoxville, TN 37909.
