Thelma P. Wiggins, 90, of Bryson City passed away Sunday May 24, 2015 in a Jackson County Hospital. A native of Swain County she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Bertha McMahan Thomasson and wife of the late Wade Willard Wiggins. She was preceded in death by her children Eugene Wiggins and Hilda Armitage and grandchildren.
She is survived by two children, Vivian Wiggins and husband Fred Wiggins and Ruth Wiggins of Bryson City; six grandchildren, Tina Jenkins Jones, Tim Jenkins, Wendy Armitage, Gary Wiggins, Jeff Armitage, and Victor DeHart; a number of great grandchildren and a brother Vincent Thomasson of Bryson City.
A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday at Thomas Chapel Cemetery. Rev. Gene Buttery will officiate.
