Terry Neil Lowe (T. Lowe), 63, of the Franklin Grove Community went home to be with the Lord Saturday, August 8, 2015. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Earl and Hester Lowe. He was a US Army Veteran having served during the Vietnam War. He was a great father, husband and friend and will be missed by many.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Lowe; aunt, Sue Jenkins of Alabama; brother, Owens Lowe of Alabama; daughter, Patricia Hyche and husband Jock of Alabama; sons, Glen Lowe and wife Malesea and Earl Lowe both of Bryson City; grandchildren, Garrett Lowe, Kari Campbell, Danielle Campbell, Dawson Lowe, Andrew Lowe, Corey Hyche, and Madilenn Lowe; great grandson, Axel Dale Taylor; and his dog, Bowzer.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Lauada Cemetery with military graveside rites being conducted by the Bryson City VFW Post 9281.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
