Virginia (Ginny) Goodwin, 82, of Bryson City passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015 in a Jackson County Hospital. A native of Kenmore, NY and resident of Bryson City for 39 years, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Virginia Wheeler Reustle and wife of the late Richard Goodwin. She was a member of the Red Hats and the Bryson City Hiking Club. She was a volunteer at PAWS Animal Shelter and St. Josephs Thrift Store. She was a huge animal lover.
She is survived by her daughter, Terry Joyce and husband Paul of Arvada, CO; and her granddaughter, Jamie Joyce.
