Obituary of Dewey Lyle Jones

Dewey L. Jones, 61, of Whittier, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, November 22, 2015 at his residence. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Ray and Ella Mae Wiggins Jones. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by four brothers, Ray Jones Jr., Harold Jones, Roy Jones, and Larry Jones.
He is survived by one son Dustin Jones of Sylva; one brother Bragg Jones and wife Kathy of Bryson City; three sisters, Linda Tinsley and husband Donny of Nashville, TN, Kathy Mathis of Sylva, and June Sisti and husband Charlie of Hickory, NC, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday at the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Charlie Sisti will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
