Evelyn L. Millsaps, 74, of the Round Hill Community went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday April 3, 2024. A native of Swain County she was the daughter of the late James and Aglestia Green Millsaps. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Joe, Ralph, Dillard, and DJ Millsaps.
She is survived by her sisters, Beatrice Hyde of Bryson City, Wanda Millsaps of Bryson City, Palestine (Tiny) Hyatt and husband Hershel of Bryson City, Imogene Millsaps of Belmont NC; two brothers, Robert Millsaps of Bryson City and Eldon (Buddy) Millsaps of Kings Mountain. Special Great niece, Sherissa Scott and husband Bracken, and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at Crisp Funeral Home. Brother Dewayne Kirkland will officiate with burial at Laurel Branch Cemetery.
The family will receive friends form 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home.
